The Asian Surfing Federation (ASF) is happy to announce today that Saudi Arabia has been approved as its Member Nation.

Kuwait, September 8, 2021: The Olympic Council of Asia’s 3rd Asian Youth Games, which were due to be held in Shantou, China this November, have been postponed until December 2022.
The host nation Japan showcased their surfing talent throughout the week, highlighted by becoming the only nation to earn two medals in the Olympic Surfing competition (Igarashi Silver, Tsuzuki Bronze).

At the 4th board meeting of Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Organizing Committee on 30th March 2021, it was decided that Surfing will be included in Asian Games 2026.
