Shusaku Miyabe

Shusaku “Shu” Miyabe, born in New York City in 1973, currently resides in Tokyo. He played a key role in the operation of Surf Lifesaving Sports Programs at regional, national, and international levels. Leveraging his skills and experience, he was instrumental in preparing the Japanese Surfing Team for the inaugural Olympic Games in Tokyo and in launching the Asian Surfing Federation.
